Scene 1
The story started off with the messenger informing Leonato that Don Pedro ad
the gang was about to come to Messina. Everyone was excited, except for
Beatrice, she’s been developing hatred for Benedick, idk why tho. Soon, Don
Pedro and the gang arrived, Leonato welcomed them with a warm welcome whilst Beatrice and Benedick? Well their quarreling. I find Benedick's insult a bit exaggerating tho "I would my horse had the speed of tongue.." yeah right, also i smell something fishy here when Beatrice said "You always end with a jade's trick. I know you of old." A love at first sight was occurring,
and it was between Claudio and Hero #yay! Claudio told Benedick that he's in love with Hero, and instead of like "really? cool!" he said something like "You love leonato's short daughter?" so what if she's short, atleast she's youthful & pretty not like you, Benedick.
Like Indonesian sinetrons, when a boy and a girl argue a lot, in the end of the day they'll end up together. So my predictions would be, Benedick & Beatrice will be known as a couple, so as Hero and Claudio.
Scene 2
Antonio told Leonato that Antonio's bright servant overheard Don Pedro & Claudio talking and it was about Hero. This scene was Shakespeare first mistake, it should've been Claudio who'll later confess to Hero that he loves her, but in this scene it was Don Pedro.
Scene 3
There's another person who misheard Don Pedro's and Claudio's convo and they were talking about Hero and Don Pedro will 'woo' Hero in the behalf of the oh-so-charming Claudio. Borachio told Don John about it, and he's planning a revenge to Cladio, and his first move would be to take Leonato for supper, a supper he'll never forget. #ooooo #mysterious #nofilter
I can't believe Borachio is a meanie, I bet the plan would be cruel and I think the plan has something to do in seperating Claudio from Hero.
"I had rather be a canker in a hedge than a rose in his grace." See! He'd rather be evil than be a good loyal man. psh, pyscho.

Act 1 Scene 1
Today in English class, we read act 1 scene 1 of Much Ado About Nothing by the astounding
William Shakespeare. After reading that, we watched the movie. I was sort of
surprised when I saw the cast because I didn’t expect them to be like that and I thought Benedick is going to be a really good looking guy since you know he's a ladies man who wants to be sin(loner)gle for the rest of his life but turns out it was not as what I've expected. I really
enjoyed the movie though even if there's a few cheesy scene with slow motion effects which makes it even cheesier, but still it’s filled with cute guys. Like Claudio, played by Robert
Sean Leonard but as soon as I saw his recent pictures my jaw dropped.
ew.

The Royal Baby
Monday morning the Kate Middleton, duchess of Cambridge and wife of Prince
William finally gave birth to a baby boy (who currently has no name) in St.
Mary's Hospital, Paddington (where Prince William was also born, hashtag wow).
The news was soon announced and everyone including the officials and even President
Obama sent their best wishes to the family. The public was very excited about
the news and finally had something to celebrate. CONGRATS KATE AND WILLY.

Presentation Idea?
Today in english class we had to make a presentation about the books we've read in summer, mine was Looking for Alaska by John Green, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger, and The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Just so you know this post about my presentation ideas is a homework that Jon had assigned to us HEHE.
So we got this question for our presentation and turns out i have to post my answer here (I guess cause that's what i typed in my memo) so yea the question is -->"How could the novel (the novel i've read back in the summer) could be understood differently if it was read in a different culture or different time?"
Well I guess people have different aspect, experienced and information about some things. Like in The Catcher in the Rye where the main character in the book is a rebel, he's desperate for some you know what, and he keeps on failing his subjects. For some readers including me, would feel awkward cause we've never experienced those things and I would think like "why would you do that i mean isn't that inappropriate you're just what 16 or 17 why would you do that?" while for others who've experienced it would be like, "it's not a big deal and stop exaggerating" so yea the novel could be understood differently in different culture.
Also, in The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, that book is supper old, it's like 10 times my age. The story was about the main character has this 'A' sign in her chest and it's a sign that she did an adulterous affair and conceives a child. It's similar to the movie The Easy A, starring Emma Stone. I think this book could be understood by readers from any generation (even though at times, this book is hard to read). Why did I say that? Because this book represents how society was back then, it also has universal appeal also the themes it's easy for people to understand and relate to the story (OKAY maybe adults can relate it to it). The book is full of emotion from love to hate to judgement to death and even to faith and dignity. And I guess for this book it could be understood differently if the people was reading it in a different time, such as if the book was published in the year where society was all like man do the works and woman stays at home and do chores then had an affair with someone else, they'll probably be ashamed and humiliated but you know i might be wrong as well, it's just my opinion and who am i anyway i'm just an asian student doing my homework hashtag swaggie.
Last but not least, Looking for Alaska I think this book could be understood differently because you know they have this scene where they planned this huge pranks on the teachers where they brought a small politician to come and 'lecture' them. Turns out the small politician was a stripper. I guess some readers would think the things that they weren't supposed to think, you get it? They sort of misunderstood I mean take the idea in a wrong way, like pranking is not part of their culture or habit or anything but for some so they might take the pranking scene too extreme since their too innocent, i guess idk.
But then again this is just an opinion of mine and it might be wrong cause i'm not that sure with my answers, so so sorry if there's any mistake hehehehe.
okay bye!

#1 English Class
English class has always been an enjoyable class, it's all fun and games until we reached the tenth grade where everything turns serious.
In the first English class which we had today, before Jon started explaining the IGCSE coverage and stuff we had like this i don't know exercise or workout, basically we had to make a straight line according to our heights and our names, it took us around a few minutes I guess to make the straight line so that was embarrassing and sort of random. Then Jon explained to us how the IGCSE exam works and what will the examiners be looking at in our paper, such nightmare there are so many materials to cover up the exam and turns out we studied some of those topics since grade 7, which i don't remember a thing, unlucky me then. Knowing the fact that we'll be choosing paths for our 'future', it scares me. What if i'm not ready or what if i chose the wrong path? I wish I can choose all paths, but that's impossible. Anyways I hope in a matter of time I'll know which path I'm going to go but for the time being, i'll just follow what a fish had once told me which was to "just keep swimming".
SORRY for shifting the topics all the time, okay so we also learnt about summary writing and summarizing
stories or texts, from the tips to the steps. Honestly this
is one of the topics I have difficulty at, especially in structuring the story and
not going over the word limit. And this post could be an example, Jon told us the limit of this would be 120 words but I think i wrote more than that HEHE hashtag sorry. I just hope i won't fail this exam because of this topic, because based on what I've heard there'll be a lot of questions in summarizing an essay and etc.
